Telescoping Height

The AP-100 series modular recovery system accommodates heights ranging from 5’2” to 5’10”. The days of spring-loaded push buttons are over. Designed with actuating clamps to secure poles to achieve desired lengths, the clamps enable precise adjustments versus unforgiving traditional spring-loaded push buttons.

Angle Joint

Naturally aligning forearms with handgrips on forearm crutches maximizes shock absorption and minimizes elbow pain. The AP-100 has revolutionized functional angle adjustment ranges through an innovative angle connector joint providing bend ranges between 15-30°. This customization element is a major improvement versus fixed angles prevalent in traditional forearm crutches. The angle connector joint enables the forearm crutch to transform into a perfectly linear connection point for underarm crutches, canes and trekking poles.

Modular Attachments

The AP-100 is the most versatile recovery, mobility and balance ‘system’ on the market. Its modular functionality utilizes ‘quick connect’ adaptors to attach or detach a forearm cuff, underarm pad, cane handle or trekking pole grip. Solving progressive needs for recovery from cane to crutch to trekking pole, the AP-100 is the last device an individual will need improve balance and provide the required support to reduce fatigue.

Detachable Hand Grips

Required for functional use with a forearm or underarm crutch, ‘quick connect’ horizontal handles can be removed to convert the AP-100 into a cane or trekking pole, or attached to convert a cane or trekking pole into a forearm or underarm crutch.

Interchangeable Boots

The base of each AP-100 contains a carbide tip, which is wear-resistant and provides superior traction on hard surfaces such as rock, ice, gravel and dirt. To provide shock absorption and a non-slip grip, the AP-100 includes a set of interchangeable rubber boots for traction and to achieve various surface area touchpoints required for each modular function.

Sensor Suite

An optional suite interoperates with user movements and AP-100 touchpoints but also functions with recovery, stability and mobility apparatuses unaffiliated with Able Physics. The sensor system, with Bluetooth connectivity to the Able Physics app, collects real-time user data to optimize recovery stages for temporary usage and safety alerts for longer-term use cases.
